KELLY LIBER ELSE
Kelly attended Bishop Verot High School in Ft. Myers, Florida. She then went onto the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing.
Kelly grew up in the world of competitive high school and college cheerleading and tumbling. She was a member of the Bishop Verot High School Competition team that placed 2nd in the Nation. She continued her passion through college at the University of South Carolina and taught Cheer and Dance Camps throughout the country for Dynamic Cheer Association. At DCA is where her passion for Dance and coaching started. DCA is where "spirit presents" started along with the famous "quote book" that is passed around at the end of practices. Kelly started her career as the coach of the Dowling Catholic High School Dance Team where she led the team to their first trip to the Iowa State Dance Team Championships, placing 3rd. She continued her career at Dowling Catholic leading her teams to 10 State Championship Titles and numerous top 10 placings at the NDA National Dance Team Championships including 2nd Place National Pom Champions. In 2007, Kelly founded the Iowa C.A.T.S. All Stars creating the first All Star Dance Team in Iowa. She is very proud of the growth of this program and believes that C.A.T.S. is successful today due to their incredible coaching staff and focused program. The C.A.T.S. coaching staff brings incredible technical experience and cutting edge choreography. In 2017, Kelly was proud to watch her Senior Pom Team capture their first National Championship Title. This title came on the 10 year anniversary of the Iowa C.A.T.S. All Stars and through the programs technical excellence, dedication and discipline for the sport. Kelly has choreographed and coached numerous high point solo and group awards as well as outstanding choreography awards. She continues her dance education by taking workshop classes and technique from famous dancers and choreographers such as Ray Leaper, Stacey Tookey, Travis Wall, Bonnie Taylor and Mandy Moore.
Kelly believes that the Iowa C.A.T.S. are not only about growing the dancer technically but also as a person. Kelly and the Iowa C.A.T.S. staff travel to New York for the Dance Teacher Summit for continued technical training and teacher certifications.

MEET OUR COACHES
Stacy attended Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She then went onto Iowa State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. She currently teaches first grade in the Southeast Polk Community School District. Since graduating from Iowa State she has obtained her Masters in Education from Viterbo University. Stacy has been teaching dance and coaching since 2003. Stacy lives in Waukee with her husband Toby and their son Brayden and daughter Julia.
For Stacy dance has always been a passion. She started at the age of 4 where her dance foundation was Ballet. She has also been trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Pom, and Hip Hop. Stacy was a teacher assistant at her home studio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was on the national qualifying division 1 college dance team at Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). Stacy is a coach and founding member of the Iowa C.A.T.S. All Star Dance Team where she has coached her teams to Local, Regional and National awards along with specialty awards including best crowd appeal, innovative choreography, and many others. She continues her dance education by taking workshop classes and technique from famous dancers and choreographers such as Bonnie Taylor, Michael Schwardts and Mandy Moore.
For Stacy, the awards are not what drives her passion. Pushing herself to the limits, challenging herself as a person and dancer, is what motivates her! Stacy loves coaching at the Iowa C.A.T.S. because she loves working with people that share her passion watching her students grow as people and as dancers!
